Within yoga there are specific practices for the eyes which can improve your sight – eye movements, massage of the area round the eyes, concentration exercises and various forms of relaxation.
This benefits those of us with poor eyesight, but the practices also affect our general level of stress – when we release tension in the eyes, we feel more relaxed as a whole.
Yoga's eye exercises utilize the body's ability to heal itself, thereby affecting the entire body's balance. In addition to Yogic eye exercises, the teaching also includes the concentration technique Tratak, regular physical yoga and breathing exercises, as well as relaxation and meditation.

Inden for yoga er der specielle øvelser for øjnene, som kan forbedre dit syn - øjenbevægelser, massage af området omkring øjnene, koncentrationsøvelser og forskellige former for afspænding.
Dette gavner folk med dårligt syn, men øvelserne påvirker også vores generelle stressniveau - når vi frigiver spændinger i øjnene, føler vi os mere afspændte som helhed.
Yogaens øjenøvelser udnytter kroppens evne til at helbrede sig selv og på den måde påvirke hele kroppens balance. Foruden øjenøvelserne inkluderer undervisningen også koncentrationsteknikken Tratak, fysisk yoga og åndedrætsøvelser samt afspænding og meditation.
Undervisningen foregår på let forståeligt engelsk.

Tarmskylning - Intestinal cleansing (held in English)

Intestinal cleansing is a yogic technique that cleanses the inner organs, releases tension and gives the digestive system a chance to rest.
During the process you will alternately drink physiological salt water and do five simple yoga exercises.
After the intestinal cleansing you will rinse your stomach and nose and then lie down to rest. Finally, you will be served a special vegetarian meal. Take it easy the rest of the day. The following ten days you will need to keep a special vegetarian diet.
The intestinal cleansing and the subsequent diet effectively purifies the body, enhancing your senses as well as your sensitivity and energy levels.
If you have not participated in an intestinal cleansing at our school before it is important that you attend the introduction that takes place on the Friday before the cleansing from 5 pm – 6.30 pm.

Yoga and Meditation courses in English in central Copenhagen
We offer several courses in yoga and meditation taught in English per semester in the city centre in Købmagergade 65, close to the Round Tower. Each class is composed as a harmonious sequence of different techniques. You will learn physical yoga exercises, breathing exercises, deep relaxation, concentration and meditation techniques.
The Courses
Most of the courses will last for 2hrs and 15mins. They are regular classes you will attend each week, where you learn many techniques taken from the Tantric Tradition. These will include practises that bend and stretch the body, work with your breath and bring you into deeper states.
Morning Yoga
Starting at 7am – 8.30am, the class will give energy and calm to take with you for the rest of your day.
